Do we need to call ahead or reserve space? We do not take reservations for our daily projects. Simply walk-in, and we'll get you started. Keep in mind that rainy days are our busiest days which sometimes means a short wait for us to get you started, but in the meantime it’s also fun and inspiring to wander around and see what others are making! Last call for projects is 3:30pm so plan on arriving before then. Our hours of operation are 10-5pm. See our calendar for what days we are open. Reservations are recommended for our classes but are not required. See our Classes to view availability.

How much will it cost? That will depend on you as you only pay for what you make! We have five studio spaces, which total 8,000 square feet of fun! Projects are individually priced and include all the basics to complete. Multiple people can work on the same project as well. The average range of projects prices is $20 – $40. Of course, there are several projects below and above this price range. This allows you to be in control of your budget!

When can we pick up our finished pieces? Some projects, you’ll be able to take home the same day. We offer a large selection of same day projects; Canvas, Glassware, Metal and Board Painting. Mosaics and Stamped Jewelry are same day too! (If you’ve painted something and it’s not dry enough to take home, feel free to leave it to dry overnight!) But if your project requires firing (Ceramic or Fused Glass), you’ll have to wait until the following day after 2:30 p.m. Additionally, Fused Glass projects that are being slumped (shaped into a dish) require an extra firing and are available for pick-up 2 days after your visit.

We're leaving in the morning. Why can't we pick up our ceramics or fused glass before 2:30pm?Artists are naturally eager to see their finished pieces, but it’s a process that can’t be rushed! Our electric kilns are digitally controlled, so we can program them for very specific firing cycles, even so, the most reliable cycle takes eight hours to reach the proper temperature and ten more to cool down. The cooling process must take place slowly and naturally, or the ceramic pieces can shatter. Same with fused glass, which is also a kiln process.

How long do you hold projects for pick up?We can hold your projects for 2 weeks. So you, family or friends have up to 2 weeks after your visit to collect your items. If family or friends are picking up your project(s), please give them a photo of the project(s) that are being picked up. We are not responsible for holding projects past 2 weeks. Can't make it within 2 weeks? Call us and we can ship your items to you!
-
Can you ship our finished pieces to us?Many of our customers require that their pieces be shipped. We ship with UPS. Your shipping cost will be calculated based on the items being shipped. Want more details, just ask at the front desk. Please allow up to 2 weeks for shipping.
-
Can we use the ceramic dishes that we painted?Absolutely. Our glazes are non-toxic and food safe. They can also go in the microwave and dishwasher! However, we do recommend hand washing to extend the life of your piece.
-
Can we use the glassware that we painted?Yes. You “bake” the painted glass pieces, so the paints harden and they can be gently washed by hand. We do not recommend putting these pieces in the dishwasher or using scrubbers on them. Forgot your baking instrustions? Place your glassware in a cold oven. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Bake for 30 minutes. Turn off oven and let your glassware cool. When it is cool remove from oven.
